Job Summary:

We are seeking a commercially disciplined Sales Manager to own and develop the Dried Botanical Ingredients category. This role is focused on higher-volume, agriculture-led products and requires strong alignment with farm planning, harvest cycles, and operational execution.

Based in Casablanca, the Sales Manager will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer, farm management, and operations teams to secure pre-orders, manage volume commitments, and ensure consistent sell-through of harvested material.

This is an individual contributor role with a strong emphasis on planning, execution, and long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Category Ownership: Own and manage the Dried Botanical Ingredients category, including volume planning, commercial strategy, and customer allocation. 

• Sales Planning & Pre-Orders: Secure pre-season sales commitments and pre-orders aligned with farm planning and harvest cycles. 

• Volume Sales: Drive sales of higher-volume, lower-margin products with a focus on consistency, reliability, and repeat business. 

• Customer Management: Manage relationships with key buyers, including ingredient traders, herbal processors, extractors, and industrial end users. 

• Commercial Execution: Lead price discussions linked to harvest yields, quality grades, and market conditions. 

• Forecasting & Sell-Through: Ensure timely sell-through of harvested stock and manage carryover risk. 

• Internal Coordination: Work closely with farm managers, production, quality, and logistics teams to align commercial commitments with operational realities. 

• Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and demand signals to inform planting and sales decisions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural commodities, dried herbs, or botanical ingredients. 

• Proven experience managing volume-driven sales and seasonal supply cycles. 

• Strong understanding of agricultural production, yield variability, and quality grading.

• Experience working with farms, cooperatives, or agricultural supply chains is highly valued. 

• Excellent organisational, negotiation, and planning skills. 

• Fluent in English; French is strongly preferred. 

• Arabic is an advantage. 

• Candidate should be proficient with Microsoft Office. 

• Familiarity with Zoho suite of apps is an advantage.  

• Comfortable working cross-functionally with farm and operations teams.
